2020 The Beauty Bar Expo formerly known as A Cosmetologist's Affair host it's 1st business front Back to School Event. Partnering with Lillirene's Land and Seafood Catering, TJ Walker and Red Door Empowerment,  Frances Bailey, and a host of community supportive, the event alone served over 50 Free Hair Services and even more supplies. 

As a tradition since 2020, Ms. Riley and her children take part in sending anonymous gifts across the world through Samaritan's Purse Organization for Christmas. 

Winter Wonderland Pop-Up Shop was hosted by The Beauty Bar Expo, formerly know as A Cosmetologist's Affair in 2021. Many local vendors came together to create an amazing shopping experience for the locals. Photos with Santa was available, along with free hot cocoa and soup for the public. Jackie Godwin (member of an ESVa's bike club) joined to give away free goodies and Christmas gifts for the kids of the community.

2022 A multitude of beauty professionals came together to offer the community free hair services for boys and girls. The community came together to disperse back to school supplies, and sent each child home with a week's supply of school lunch. 

Each participant took pride in this movement and is always looking forward to returning the next year to do it all over again.

In 2020, the Owner of The Beauty Bar Expo had the pleasure to share her childhood story of how her passion led up to her career. Many students were inspired and motivated during not only her speech but also their walk-thru throughout the salon.

During the holiday season, Red Door Empowerment Ceo, Dr. Frances Bailey and ESVA Community Outreach Manager, Shyreka Riley shares the same giving spirit. Care packs were made and given to residents of The Eastern Shore of Va/Md Domestic Voilence Shelters.
